As we approach the dawn of 2024, I invite you to take a moment to look back at the year that’s passing. How has your 2023 journey been so far? It’s incredible how time has woven together a tapestry of moments—some joyous, some challenging, yet each contributing to the fabric of our lives.

Think back to the memorable events, the milestones achieved, and the lessons learned. Celebrate those victories, both big and small, for they reflect your resilience, determination, and growth. But alongside those triumphs, acknowledge the hurdles faced—the struggles that tested your strength and resolve.

Perhaps 2023 threw unexpected curveballs, leaving you grappling with uncertainties or setbacks. It’s during these moments that we’re reminded of our own limitations and the need for something more substantial to anchor our lives upon.

Yet, in the face of all this, as we anticipate the new year, let’s embrace an empowering perspective—a radical shift that transcends the ordinary. It’s a shift that beckons us to consider a profound change, not just in our actions but in our very core—the decision to invite Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior.

For it’s in embracing this radical shift that we find solace, strength, and an unending source of love and joy. It’s in acknowledging Him that our failures and shortcomings find redemption, and our victories gain deeper meaning.

As we enter 2024, let’s take this opportunity to thank God for the year that’s passed and the new one ahead. Let’s commit ourselves to a journey that encompasses faith, self-reflection, and an unwavering trust in His plan for our lives.

Let this new year be the threshold of a transformed existence—one where Jesus takes center stage, guiding us through every triumph and trial and filling our hearts with His love and joy.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
